As a clinical herbalist, I help people use medicinal plants to feel a greater sense of balance and vitality in their minds and bodies. I work with a wide range of conditions and people, but I am particularly passionate about helping folks living with connective tissue disorders, such as Ehler-Danlos Syndrome (EDS) or hypermobility spectrum disorders.
My approach to herbalism is rooted primarily in what is commonly known as the Western herbal tradition. I completed a three year clinical training program at Vermont Center for Integrative Herbalism, where I studied anatomy and physiology, pharmacology, pathophysiology, ethics, and nutrition on top of the Western herbal tradition. My clinical practice weaves together traditional herbal knowledge with current scientific evidence to reconnect people with age old remedies in a modern context.
I use a non-judgmental client-centered framework to create individualized plans that help clients move towards their health goals. I believe in health at every size, harm reduction, trans inclusivity, and strive to create an inclusive environment for people to connect with plant-based medicine.
